Growing out your eyelashes/eyebrows using Castor oil

Tuesday, August 20, 2013

Hey Girl!

Tired of filling in your eyebrows a lot? or maybe you want that long gorgeous lashes? You could actually do this easy steps to naturally grow your lashes/brows using simple few tools you can buy in your local drugstore or you might have already at home.

Castor oil comes from castor seed, Ricinus communis, which has a very unusual chemical composition. Castor oil has been known to be beneficial for its many medical uses and has been widely used for skin and hair regimens. (source: mercola.com)

What you'll need:
Castor Oil
Spooly (mascara wand)
Empty mascara tube/container (preferably see through/clear tube)

What you'll do:
Before you put the castor oil in an empty mascara tube make sure it is cleaned thoroughly leaving no mascara products in the tube. It is best if you have clear mascara tube where you can see the inside of the tube. Then, pour in the castor oil in the tube (half full will do)

or

I personally do put a small amount of a castor oil in an empty container enough for a single use and dip my spooly in it. (Disadvantage: you cannot control the oil you placed on the spooly.)

And you're ready for application!

I have been doing this for a month now (not every day because of my different schedule at work). I do this at night before going to sleep and not just it makes the eyebrows/eyelashes grow it also makes it smoother and stronger plus based on the articles I have read it is also good for those who has insomnia as it brings the feeling of relaxation as you applied on the eyelids.

Good luck! Have a beautiful life!

Let's talk again on my next blog.
Yes, YOU lovely gorgeous.

Love yourself because you are beautiful.

    1. Hi! I am not sure where to buy but I think I saw one on a department store long time ago. I didn't remember where. Don't worry it will not cost you too much. I hope you can find one.

  2. Hello, how was it going? I'm trying this method for quite a while now as my lashes fell off due to eyelash extensions. Sigh. But yeah, I wanna know some updates from you. Thanks!

    1. Hi Marian! I haven't tried to have eyelash extensions but I think the oil loosens up the glue on your extensions that is why it fell off. You shouldn't do this while you have the eyelash extensions because I think it will ruin it. By the way, I am blessed to have a thick eyebrows and strong eyelashes. It is as good as it is. Thank you for visiting!
