Hey Girl!

A month ago, I decided to cut my hair short because I felt I've reached my limit of my longest hair ever I'm in my life. I knew it when I have to cut it, when it feels like I am bored, and it becomes so uncomfortable and unmanageable already. And now, after a month of cutting, then I realized that I started not to style my hair anymore (that is always the dilemma) because I felt it is too short plus the roots of my hair is growing into naturally curly that my hair looks uneven, half of it straight and the other half is curly. It looks frustrating to see a bad hair day almost everyday because the roots is not the same hair as the treated grown one but still, this is not new to me, it is always the same old story of my hair getting treated every other year (my personal choice! to lessen the damage it cost my hair and also practically wise) and in between that every other year, I will embrace my natural roots until I decided to treat it again. Now, I decided to embrace it fully by finding ways to style that short messy hair.

Here are some inspirations I did with my short messy hair look!

Braided Mess. No one can stop you from braiding! You could make a french/dutch braid on the top portion of your hair, that way you can hide that messy hair on the top and getting your hair out of your face makes it look neat and of course, pretty!

Classic Rolled up. You can't just settle on your regular ponytail everyday, you have to spice it up girl! Do a big bun up in a classic style. Scattered your bun and pin it to add volume to the hair too.

Side braided chic. If you think braid down will not work on your short hair, you're wrong! You just have to make a twist to make it happen. Braid down your hair on one side then rolled it up and pin it in place. Now, you've got your side braided chic hair.

Naturally messy. Okay, in this style it is about you and your hair. Do it the best thing possible that works on your hair. Pin it. Add some mousse or leave on. Let it flow naturally.

Pop and drop. Do your regular pompadour and let your hair down. Half up, half down style. Tease a little more to add volume.

That's it! <3

You could do so much with your hair, dear. Just be creative, style it, and love your own roots. At the end of the day, it is all about you, feeling good about yourselves.

Let's talk again on my next blog.
Yes, YOU lovely gorgeous.

Love yourself because you are beautiful.
