Lessons I learned from 2017

Hey girl!

What's up? I am still alive and kicking. You know! I am just around the corner taking it one step at a time. I don't think I have done this last time but it was really nice to get back to what I have improved in myself from the last year.

It is really nice to start this 1st blog post of this year with a positive mind.

1. Accepting defeat.

Isn't it really brave to get up on your feet again after your defeat? Well, that's the start of my year 2017. But hey, it was a year ago and looking what I have become now, I am proud that I've gone through all that and remaining strong till the end.

2. Taking risks.

After the storm, that shouldn't be the end of it, but the beginning of something. Something you never plan to do because your suppose to be Plan A didn't work out. Taking chances to what you are not prepared for. It may be or may not be the next big thing but you prove again that you are stronger than you are yesterday.

3.  Reach for someone who inspires you.

Be a fan girl. Meet new people. Interact. It was never a complete experience until you were there first hand. It was so nice to see or read and be inspired. But, its another thing to be there in flesh and tell them they mean something to you.

4. Don't be afraid of change.

You may leave someone/something in the process, but that doesn't mean you will not be part of them in the future. Remember when you turn the page, you are staring a new blank canvass where no one was there but you. Don't be afraid and make every page memorable.

5. Leave inspirational footprints.

Most of the footprints we left will be erase by time. Only the memories and experiences will remain. So make sure when you leave people behind, they will not only remember you on the physical things that you gave, but most importantly the beautiful moments that you shared.

6. The older you get, the more responsibilities you have.

Yes, we always say: Adulting is hard. True enough because we are now capable of making a difference. We have to make sure that we will not waste our chances.

7. You cannot make everything alone.

Even if you actually do a particular thing by yourself, it is not possible you can attain whatever it is without your support system. You always need a family, a friend, a purr-cutie buddy or anyone you will give you purpose.

8. Hardwork pays.

It wasn't always an easy life for me. But then, when you are doing your best and you have a good people to lean on. It gives me fuel to go on.

9. One step at a time.

I once believe that I am a multitasker, maybe on some short term goals that I want to achieve but actually not on I am with my life. When I have a decision to take on, I give almost 80% of my energy to it until I achieve it. That's the only time I am ready for another opportunity again. You can never sail on two seas with one boat. Grab the best opportunity, give your best shot and flourish with it. And then, take another one. That's the time, you will be more productive.

10. Patience.

The longer you wait, the more fulfilling it is when you achieve it. Why is it so hard to wait? Because the longer it is, the more struggles you will face. I have long tested my patience and I've been to my almost full pace. But, I never burst out because I still believe in a perfect timing. My day will eventually come.

Let's talk again on my next blog.
Yes, YOU lovely gorgeous.

Love yourself because you are beautiful.

Hugs and Kisses,
Princess Mikee
