A day in one of the UNESCO World Heritage City: Vigan, Ilocos Sur Philippines
Monday, May 28, 2018Hey girl!
We have a quick visit to Vigan, Ilocos Sur few weeks back. We actually have no actual concrete plan on where to go and where to stay. We juggled in google where to go in Vigan. Our main goal only was to experience the city that is known to preserve a taste of history and culture. We did it! And how do we manage to find where we stay? Here's my post about it: Where we stayed in Vigan?
Here is the list of places where our feet and vehicle took us: Plaza Salcedo, Baluarte Resort and Mini Zoo, Vigan Heritage Village, Bantay Church, Saint Paul Metropolitan Cathedral, Bantay Church Bell Tower, Plaza Salcedo Dancing Fountain.
To tell you, it isn't only the places reachable in a day going to Vigan. It's just that we were too tired from a road trip from Naga City- Laguna. Then a day after, Laguna- Vigan City. Our body haven't recovered that much. Our road trip from Laguna-Vigan lasted around 8-9 long hours. I am glad to share my compilation videos on our trip to one of the World Heritage Site in PH.

PLAZA SALCEDO
We spent 1 night, 2 days in total but because of the travel time we almost spent 1 day off road and 1 day exploring around Vigan. It was tiring, but totally fulfilling experience. It makes me want to explore more places in my home country, Philippines. It makes me proud to be a Filipino. Indeed, there's so much more to see in Ilocos Sur and there's more in Norte. Till we meet again, Ilocos. My heart was full!
Let's talk again on my next blog.
